Environment and Synopsis

The Chosen Synopsis

The History

200 years ago, a group of human explorers crossed many galaxies to expand their existence. They, however, crash on the gaseous, swamp planet Seuluuga. The Seuluugan inhabitants, at first revered them, as this was their first contact from the outside world. In an effort to establish a stable relationship with the Seuluugans, the humans traded knowledge for hospitality.

Seuluugans had plans other than gracious hospitality. Once they created tools and weapons of their own, the Seuluugans started to enslave the humans, being weaker due to the gases they were breathing in. For many years, the enslaved people were exposed to torment, depravity, and humiliation by the now corrupted inhabitants.

Some humans ran away and started a refuge in the mountains, where the Seuluugans dare not go due to the lack of water. There, the people relearned the ways of survival and hunting, establishing a community based on the old ways of man.

The only thing that separates the Seuluugans and the humans is the swamp, riddled with dangerous creatures and Seuluugan Warriors, trying to recapture the escaping humans.

It is a time of despair, a time of hope; it is the time to choose freedom.

The Story

A girl wakes up in a lab room. Not knowing where she is or who she is, the girl panics and tries to leave. The building is not that heavily guarded, but she does not try to risk being seen. Once she reaches the door, the alarms go off and all the Seuluugan guards come to recapture "CH-053-n". The girl, reaching a cliff outside of the building, is cornered; the only choice of escape is to jump. In a moment of desperation and adrenaline, she takes the leap of faith and lands in the swamp below.

The girl is then found by a human scout, who was looking for food and supplies to use back at the human refuge camp. Taking pity on her, the scout takes the unconscious girl back to the camp, where it would be safer for them to be. From here, the journey for the girl to find herself, and who she is, begins...
